Hose Reel Mounting Post | Evolve Series
The Hose Reel Mounting Post | Evolveā¢ Series is an optional extra mounting solution designed to work with the Evolveā¢ Retractable Reel.
The powder-coated metal post can be located anywhere in the garden and is ideal if you want a Retractable Reel but don't have a wall on which to mount the bracket.Ā Unlike the classic post, the Evolveā¢ Series Mounting Post now boasts the ability to secure the Evolveā¢ Hose Reel to the post with an Evolveā¢ Series Padlock!
The top of the post is a copy of the wall bracket, allowing you to slot the reel on with ease and allows the reel to swivel 360Ā° to follow you as you move around the garden.
This product is suitable for use with all Hoselink Evolveā¢ Retractable Hose Reel sizes.
*This product is not suitable for use with Hoselink Classic Retractable Hose Reels. You can find the Classic Mounting Post here.Ā
Installation Advice
The post must be secured in the ground to take the weight of the reel, which can be accomplished with concrete (not supplied). The total post length is 31 inches long and we recommend setting it in 12 inches of concrete.
We recommend digging a hole 18 inches deep and 12 inches wide. Fill with gravel for the first 6 inches before setting the Mounting Post on top and filling with concrete, ensuring a concrete depth of 12 inches up the post.
This will require approximately 65lbs of concrete.
